Bemis | Protechnic, a leading company in thermoplastic adhesive solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our expert team as an Area Sales Manager for the Iberian (Portugal & Spain) & Benelux market.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in Bemis | Protechnic growth strategy!

We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English and Spanish has solid experience in sales in the industrial sector.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed annual budget in assigned territory and ensure sustainable year-over-year growth.
  • Identify potential customers/markets and generate new business through the opportunity pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct sales presentations to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals with customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges in the territory.
  • Analyze sales data and create sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement (forecasting).
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.
  • Provide product training and support to customers.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other sales events to promote the company’s products and expand the customer base.

 

Required Skills:

    • Excellent presentation skills with a “can-do” attitude
    • B2B sales experience
    • Background in adhesives/chemistry is an advantage
    • Team player for effective collaboration with other departments
    • Skills in acquisition and lead generation
    • Communication skills in English & Spanish
    • Location in Portugal or Spain (workplace flexibility)
    • IT skills (CRM, MS-Tools,…)
    • Analyzing KPIs
    • Strong negotiation skills, excellence in closing sales
    • Ambitious, competitive, and results-oriented
    • 70% travel in the assigned territory
